On this page

STNDRD works across desktop and headset. Each surface has a different purpose.

Use desktop when you need to create, edit, organize, or review content. Use headset when you need to view training in a hands-on environment.

Use desktop for

  • Signing in and managing your workspace.
  • Creating Standard Works.
  • Editing steps, Key Points, and Key Reasons.
  • Uploading or reviewing media.
  • Publishing training content.
  • Searching Resource Center articles.

Use headset for

  • Viewing Standard Works in context.
  • Moving through training steps while near the work area.
  • Reviewing media while practicing a task.
  • Learning physical steps with visual guidance.
  • Capturing media, if your role and setup allow it.

Which should I start with?

Most users should start on desktop. Authors and admins usually need to create or review content first.

Trainees may go directly to headset once a Standard Work is published and available to them.

If something looks missing

Check the desktop workspace first. The Standard Work may still be unpublished, assigned to another workspace, or unavailable to your role.
